I was given this ring from my father in the 1960's and I wore it around my neck through high school.I loved it.It had all the stones but most fell out over the years.I have no idea what it is made of but it is Very strong and no symbols or anything on it.The story goes from my father that he was given it by a Russian man while in the Army, but I happen to know my dad's father was an officer in the Russian army and believe he gave it to my Dad when he was young. My father and his dad didn't speak once my father came to the USA in the forties. The ring is small and my Dad used to wear it on his little finger.I never saw one like it and really wished I knew more about it.The scroll work on it is wonderful and it is not magnetic and doesn't tarnish. That's all I know about it.I would take better pictures but not with My camera,LOL
This is a great ring!! I would say Art Deco by style. I think the way this tarnishes its Sterling or 875 Silver which is common in Russia. The stones are easily replaced...I have had it done all the time. And sized if you want to ...I am in it the jewelry business..
