This was an gift several years ago. Brings lots of compliments. I have no clue where my old friend purchased nor did I ever ask the history, if any nor whom the signature belonged too- I have taken to several jewelers and they are mystified. Help me put some info with the ring!
It looks like Arabic writing.
The focal point seems to be a seal or stamp. Also looks like it may be glass
The material may be Carnelian, popular for such seals.

Can you read the signature? The seal/stamp does resemble a design of some sort. The jeweler was not positive of the material. It seems that it is glass.
Really unique and fantastic! Love this ring. Is it sterling maybe 90 or 80 percent? Really nice!!!!
I agree it looks to be carnelian.I had an arabic piece made from carnelian and it was etched with a muslim prayer.I was at a market one day wearing it when an arabic man said you can not wear that if you are not muslim. I sold it the next week.

Ok, last comment worries me-last thing that I need is to be wearing a ring that may be taboo- I know when I found the credit card statement there was a charge for $4300-I look at the signature and dream....
