This is an art deco brooch I bought some months ago on a flea market. I think its georgeous.
It came together with the art deco onyx and marcassite pendant that I showed earlier. Again I only payed a few bucks for it.
As you can see I (almost) never clean my jewelry so it has a nice patina.
It has a safety clasp and I date it from around 1935-1940.
Its sterling silver (925), marcassites and green enamel. It measures around 4-5cm in lenght total.
I hope you like it.
Very nice
Thx Zowie and Manikin for loving my necklace
Oops brooch...my mind is in another place today
Vetraio50 and DrFluffy, thank you so much for appreciating my brooch
When I seen this I was wondering were I have seen a similar design only to be looking in my jewellery box & see a pair of earrings I have & used to ware a lot only I have no enamel on mine
Hey Zowie, I would love to see them. Thanks for your comment!
I have never really thought of them in that way so I will have to take a photo for you
