Blenko water pitcher (not a reproduction). I am stumped as to which color this is (http://www.blenkocollectors.com/blenkocolors.htm). I thought Sea Green but now after viewing all the greens, I am not certain.

When I was little, it was at our beach cottage and held flowers that grew wild on the side lot. It's been around since before my time so it's pre-1970.

Kind of looks like Mulberry? Dave

It looks charcoal to me from the pics you posted. It's a beautiful color!

I thought charcoal as well but looks a bit light. Maybe its the light from window making it look washed out grey? Its cool anyway! dave

      Hmmm, maybe 1950's Charcoal.
Definitely not Mulberry, Dave! It's in the green family, not purple.

There are different Charcoal colors for different years of production. The light coming in the window could be causing it to not look like the color it really it. I will take another photo tomorrow showing it not in the light,

      This one : http://www.fast-autos.net/diecast-cars-models/RARE-Color-BLENKO-Water-Bottle-Carafe-CHARCOAL-OLD-ONE_250730892230.html

It came up in a Google image search but the website has me puzzled.

Added a photo (the last one) taken without light coming in the window. Shows the color a bit better.

ok, now I can see that it's a green color. It's kind of a dark-emerald-charcoal color? I totally just made that color up btw. lol ;)

Yes, "Charcoal" is the Blenko name (it's a very deep, dark green).

Looks like 50's to me.... the first couple of pics of the dark, maybe?
    13. SMD SMD, 14 years ago
Yes 50's it is, I thought there was a page online that shows the different charcoal greens for each year in the 50's. Hmmm...
