I date this necklace from about 1920-30. It is marked on back, and first I thought I had found a match on the 925-1000.com website: Wing Nam & Co (Hong Kong); - the marks in my photo are upside down, however, looking closer, I see it may not be an exact match. Please do not hesitate to contribute your suggestions. I'm not sure if the focal glass element is carved or molded - other necklaces of this style I've seen were identified as "carved" but I usually like to be sure first. The silver is very dark from tarnish and as much as I'd like to see the contrast of gleaming polished silver with blue glass, I plan to leave it the way it is.
Lovely....
I adore the blue color!
davy286 I just put a set of earrings down they have a similar look I was wondering what mine could be made of & this has at least given me a way to turn to look mine has no marking that I remember but the gold does appear to be gold.
You know, I would have cleaned these, just because gleaming silver with that blue would have been far more attractive, and, I would argue, more valuable.
Very beautiful! What color and shine!
