Handmade little rug made with incredable patience

I would like to show you because it is made with incredible patience and skill. This is embroidered with needle and thread and nonwoven such as an oriental carpet.I think this rug is about 55-60 years old. My late mother (who died at age 84 in 1992) has been present from a distant acquaintance. On the occasion of which I do not know.
The sizes of this little rug are: 16.7 x 7.3 "(42.5 x 23.5 cm) It is embroidered with petit stabbing (as far as I know) in beautiful colors. A non adjustable patience work and even the back is beautiful (see photo 3 and 4) ! I hope you will agree.
