This 30 page booklet features the saddle towel identifications of the trainers at Saratoga for the 2013 season. It measures 10.7 by 25.5Cm. The cover features H. Allen Jerkens, and is entitled "Hall of Famer....AJ". The original was painted in 2008 by R.C. "Bob" Ewell. And the second posting gives an example of some of the saddle towels.
These helpful booklets are available on Saratoga's training track, which is known as "Oklahoma". Oklahoma features a mile long dirt track, encircling a full length turf course. Horses also train on Saratoga's main dirt course.
I have taken many more photos of activity at Saratoga, and should be posting these soon.
Obviously, this booklet is not an antique, but could be considered a collectible, thus I am posting this on Collectors' World. Hopefully, this will be acceptable.
Thank you, Moonie! I plan on returning there during the meet's final 2013 week. I especially like spending time on the backstretch and on the training courses.
And on Thursdays at The Spa, there are one or two Steeplechases on the card!
I am very grateful that I have friends who are able to gain me access to the areas of the track not generally available to the public.
Hava fine day, my friend....

Hi, Sean...thanks for the love, and for the comment! That is cool to hear oof your kin being horse owners. What breed(s) do they have?
Horses, though they can be frustrating, are "great therapy"!
