      I wonder if you might possibly be researching the wrong item? Yes it sews but I wonder if it sews clothing or leather. The trunnions and spring are very heavy duty for even an industrial sewing machine from what I can see in the pictures.

      I agree its very heavy duty.. I just assumed anything with a kneedle and thread was some sort of sewing machine..what else could it be called.?.. thanks for your info.. Al

      can you see any names or markings on the machine that might help narrow down a maker? some makers specialised in certain types of industrial machines

      I assume the sewing takes place inside the chamber at the end, what is the diameter of that?
      What does the small hand crank operate?
