Thanks for showing.....I've never seen these shades before of all the years of collecting, especially executed with paper weight technique. I was so sure that they were Durand when I first look at them.
LOVE EM ALL.
jamdan2k, Before I acquired these shades from Jon Heiden over 25 years ago I had never seen this combination either...they are little gems.
I too thought they were Durand. I'm sure there are very few of these around. Wonderful!
dasullywon, In almost 40 years of searching I'v only seen one other blue damascene on white paperweight Quezal shade with this decoration....
That would be my definition of "rare".
Thanks for all of your amazing recent posts; it is a shame that you have to keep most in storage. I guess you don't want to glue everything down to the shelves. :)
dasullywon, Always, thanks for your comments...when you have felt a 7.0 earthquake you learn fast...keep them in the box...someday they will come out for a visit...
Jack, hope you have sometime future to re-take your collection digitally.....That would be something to see!
Howard, Yes, that is the idea...and the QUEZAL ART GLASS and Decorating Company book would follow after the photography is completed...we are almost there with the collection...many of these examples have been unseen as I acquired many 25/30 years ago in the early days of my collecting. Thanks, Jack
Jack, will you sign your book for me???? Howard
