    I came across these old national geographic magazines many years ago.
    I was able to contact Mr. Glenn and ask him to autograph these for me. I now have the cover issue framed and hung in my office.
    What a Great explorer and extremely Brave to think what he did back then.

      Your exactly correct. I had another piece I had sent to Neil Armstrong and had them mixed up. Good catch.

      So you have the first American to orbit the earth instead of the first Man on the Moon. Still great that it's autographed. I am actually named after John Glenn since I was born in May 1962 (my grandpa's choice)
