Picked this up a few weeks ago from a Craigslist listing. The person I got it from picked it up at an antique store, so she had no history on it and there are no markings anywhere that I have found. Only issue with it is the crack in the lid. :( Other than that just a few nails missing. Really good and clean condition otherwise. I noticed another posting similar to this one with the unique wood handles...so any help or information I can get is greatly appreciated.
It seems I am always seeing something on this site that I have never seen before. Today it is the unusual slat clamps. Not seen them before. I have seen, (on you tube) interesting and perhaps useful ways of repairing this type of crack. You might check it out if you intend to do something about it. Great trunk. Love the handles. Can't wait to hear more info on it.
