Here is something to look at:

      http://www.madforglass.es/Welz/Welz_1658b.html

I was provided links to this site from charcoal. They have some fantastic glass. I did see some attribution that I would question. Not sure about this one, but the colors are very similar.

Thanks Lee for the kind words. Here's how I feel your ewer is related to Ruckl if it helps:

Charlie, Leah's posting and yours is what inspired me to look outside of not only the box(USA) but overseas! I searched and searched..and found this one...thank you for posting your wonderful pieces...I am learning as I go..
      I appreciate all your help...

I wouldn't jump to the Ruckl conclusion-- many would put this in the Welz category and many would simply call it Bohemian.

Sometimes a definite attribution is not possible.

It is a nice piece of glass whoever produced it!

Scott, changed the title..and made it for both attributions..XO Thank you

I am not the expert, but I have talked with many and I have observed many attribution tags on here and on other sites.

Do take a look at some of the attributed Welz on here and on the site linked above and you will see many contradictions.

AGAIN, the beauty of the glass takes center stage!

I've found that many call this Stevens and Williams too. Lovely piece either way as Scott said.

Charlie, now I am confused! The Seller said it was his grandmothers in England...and its been in the family for many, many years....does that change anything?

Moonstone-- here is a very interesting article that I found on the subject:

      http://www.kralik-glass.com/welzresearchhoneycomb.html

It is well worth reading when you have the time!
