Finally got the electric cord repaired on the lamp. Took the cord off an old broken electric clock I had which had this nice vintage cord and plug on it. Even the old wire matched. I wanted to keep the original wire that was left. I just added the inline switch to join them together. Presto ! Let there be light and it's beautiful ! :)
