This doll is 3 1/2 inches tall. She is wearing a beaded "buckskin" dress and matching full leg beaded moccasins. Her body, head and arms feel like they are ceramic. Her features are hand painted. Her headband is also beaded and there appears to be a "part" stitched into her hair. I think her arms are hinged or tied so they can be moved but I cannot see in clearly and I don't want to damage her.
My great aunt died and these were given to me. She lived in the Chippewa River valley in the heart of Ojibway country.
Can anyone tell me anything about this doll?
