    Purchased from an estate sale...I'm presuming the seller was right that this set is very old & rare! Can anyone help me out with this?

    The underside is impressed with WEDGEWOOD J RS then in black ink F2959R with a 9 or design

      Welcome! If the 3 letters JRS are on it, it is 19th century. Here is a link to antique-marks.com, a great resource for porcelain marks, you should be able to date it down to the month and year. It's always a good idea to post a photo of the back of the piece too
