I have a Hamilton US Ordnance Department, RR Grade Pocket Watch. The Manufacturer's Part # is 992b, 21 Jewels, 6 POS. The serial number look like it could be OB-3498 or OE-3498.

It is running fast. How can I slow the movement down? Any advice would be appreciated.

if its WILDLY fast its progably magnetized and a decent watchshop can demagnatize it,..if its just a few min a day ,..should be a tiny lever next to the escapement on the movement to adjust it,..if your nervous to poke round in it take it to a shop and have them show you how,..its a nice watch and it would be a shame to muck it up poking round inside it with a pointy stick

Probably dirty. Take the back off and let us see the movement. That's where all the cool stuff is!! Thanks for sharing it and welcome to the board!!!
