old seth thomas adamantum clock ,..reealy ugly

woohoo thrift shops ROCK ,..thought it was a fake cheesy clock for 10 bucks at the local Savers thrift shop,..and poped open the back and BLING its a seth thomas 8 day! ,..snagged a key at a clock shop n gave it a wind and BONG BONG BONG it started rite up! gave her a lil bit o blow out on the dust and a lil clock oil and its a happy runner,..and as far as i can tell its supposed to look this ugly,..found another in a seth thomas website with the same auful finish,..guess it was cool for about 20 minits about a hundred years ago,..but hey it sounds good and looks damn interesting!
