    This carving has been in our family for a long time.I think its alabaster but not sure.There is no markings on the piece anywhere.It appears to be two vases and some vines or something in the carving.It is quite heavy and is used to put the umbrella in right by the front door.If anyone knows some more about this please help.Robert...
