In an antique shop today I found this vibrant pinback button from the 1939 New York World's Fair. The button is 1 3/4" and shows the Trylon & Perisphere symbol, a plane, and a ship, among other things.
There are a couple of watches produced for this event, one of which has the same "pike" tower and orb for the hands. This is a goodie and looks "Minty" thanks for sharing!!
I've got a flag around here somewhere, from the 1939 World's Fair. Cool pin!
You're a well informed and smart young lady. Thanks for sharing.

Nicole, have a look at the hands of this pocket watch!
@kerry10456: It's my pleasure!! Thank you for stopping by and "loving" this :)) It seems that geo26e has found the watch that you mentioned!
@Signaholic: Thank you! I'm sure I speak for others when I say that I'd love to see your World's Fair flag :)
@Thoscahaba: Thank you very very much- as a beginner who has so much more to learn, I really appreciate it!
@geo26e: Indeed, the hands of the watch are the same as the symbol on the button! Thanks for sharing!
