The previous buying trip was a great one for me because I scored many early Kenneth Jay Lane pieces. This is another fine example of his work from the sixties, signed "K.J.L.". Featuring two opposite snake heads with large green cabochon eyes. The head is encrusted with crystal rhinestones, and also at the neck. The rest of the body is textured to give the bangle a scaly effect. You will not believe just how much thought was put into making this highly-detailed piece. Although Kenneth Jay Lane still makes jewelry today, his early vintage designs were far more whimsical and of higher quality.
