1980 RCA XL 100 25 inch color console TV

I purchased this RCA XL 100 25 inch color console TV brand new in 1980 and just could not get rid of it. My kids have told me its time to throw it away since it doesn't work, BUT the cabinet is like new. It truely is a piece of furniture. The TV has been at my daughters and I pretty much told them to just get rid of it and make sure it goes to a good home. Christmas 2010 it shows up at my house as a display cabinet, I admit I was not too thrilled because I had decided it was gone. They gutted the entire thing and put shelves in as my wife requested. She knew I was not to happy with it as shelves. Next thing you know the shelves are out and our flatscreen TV is in it and it looks pretty good. I made sure it was all secure and put all the extra wires that used to be on the floor neatly in the back. We are getting rave reviews.
