    These silk hankies are very fragile and are ready to turn to dust. I took them out for photo.
    The autograph book was carried in PTE A> Kirton's backpack and there are autographs from men from France,Belgium,Australia and more.
    There are some references to the "Kaisers" and some funny ditty's that are very in time with the period. Quite a few remarks about the "frogs" in France
    a very interesting book
    The autograph on the right page was a soldier wounded in the battle of Polygon Wood. when I researched dates they match up to the event.
    So more history of Pte A.Kirton

      Unfortunately that one is in the worst condition and I dint want to open it up for fear it would disintegrate
