I recived this 1930s flying A sign as payment for a brake job i did on a friends van. 62" wing tip to wing tip, 48 " top to bottom. best hour i ever spent. Pride of my small collection of signs.

Is the sign still hanging on the outside of your garage? I noticed that was five years ago. What a sweet sign!

wow that looks great on the wall....i have the exact same sign and have never seen another one the same size.....have always loved it i got it from my grandfather when i was young....def one of my prized possessions! have been trying to find a value for them but are very hard to find isaw a 17" one on ebay for $1700....makes me scared to display outside for fear of theft or vandalism(i live in a nor cal college town) but have had it on my living room or bedroom walls for over 20 years now i love to see others!
now this is really weird but i also have a coffee table made from a racing slick and glass top! but mine is a mickey thompson....i guess great minds think alike!
bombinjohn, i have the same feelings about mine, especially after seeing one on ebay at the end of August go for over 3,000. bolted it to the garage.
amazing sign! this is the one that eluded us so far but if we just keep looking we might get lucky and get one for our collection. i love what you have done with yours! it is perfect right where it is!
