I really didn't think much of this when I first saw it at GW this morning. It says "Tiffany and Company" on the dial and "Made in W. Germany" on the very bottom of the face. I saw the battery operated movement (=cheap) and though " ok" for the few bucks they wanted, I'll take it. When I got it home I put a battery in it and it wouldn't run. I went online to look up the movement and clock and to my surprise these are or were quite expensive. Not sure if we're dealing with brass or gold here. I found the movement is one of Hechinger's earlier ones but no exact date. I also found out they can be repaired but it's pricey and replacement is more cost effective. So I have a non-running Tiffany clock that may or may not be worth a bit of money. -Mike-
