Many thanks for your help. I was pretty sure it wasn't the real thing but good to know for sure. Maybe it's good we did not know at the time how valuable these dolls would become or we probably wouldn...
P.S. Apron definitely not the one which is part of the Barbie-Q #962 outfit with pockets for utensils. I do believe this dress, along with apron and cap belong together, but not at all certain whether...
My mistake, realized after I posted my question that I should have written the header differently - sorry! I'm going through my old Barbie stuff (all from the 60's) to see what's of value, what's not....
The doll is certainly authentic, the outfit is what I am looking to identify. Thanks for trying to help!
