I actually did find info on this machine. It was produced in Japan near the end of WWII and is a replica of a much older Singer type machine. Mine has been ripped down to the iron frame by my hubby...
I just bought the same machine and haven't been able to find any info either. Nothing is stamped behind the face plate.
