Known for his flamboyance off the field and clutch hitting on it, Reggie Jackson starred in the big leagues for 21 seasons. Jackson won five World Series titles, including the 1977 championship with the New York Yankees over the Los Angeles Dodgers. In that series, Jackson hit .450 with five home runs, including three in a row in Game 6. It was a performance that earned him his nickname, “Mr. October.” As a player Jackson was always in the media spotlight, making him quite popular, and consequently collectible. Some of his most prized items are baseball cards and baseballs autographed with his unique signature.
