This is a late 1880s- 1890s cabinet card photograph of a man with his large high- wheeled bicycle.
From my basic research, I found a very similar bicycle that was made by the H. B. Smith Company out of Smithville, NJ. The bicycle was known as the Star Bicycle, and like this photograph is a very collectible piece of early American Bicycle History.
The photographer of this image is unknown.
