This is a rather practical invention: The cup and saucer comes with a spot for the biscuit! There is a name for this but I cannot remember it.

DrFluffy, I agree. I am waiting for the right opportunity to put it to use:)
Replacements.com differentiates this as a (within the Royal Albert enormous catalogue) Dessert Set ... vs Snack Set or Hostess Set, depending on shape, I think. One of my favourite cup shapes, this design cup is 'Hampton' I believe. So pretty.
