This prototype example is Mickey & Pluto Joggers a 1970 idea by Walt Disney's New York City merchandise manager Al Konetzni . it never saw production. the dial is hand done with the lettering and numbers done with inkpen and the Mickey & Pluto on second hand is die cut b\w hand colored the watch has Bradley and Disney copyright on outer rim.
Are the characters on a clear disk above the hour and minute hands? You've posted one I've not got nor seen, "KUDOS" on this piece.
The characters are die cut pieces on metal second hand above the hour hands. thanks for the KUDOS .
wasn't sure if this was like the "Space Explorer" watch from Bradley with the clear disk, thanks for the info. Will have to reference that in my memory, for that "Book" thingy. :-)
Love this museum piece! Do you have any documentation?
Hi George , only thing I have is what Hakes has in the auction catalogue.
Hakes are usually spot on!
