I noticed this Lundberg art glass desk lamp when I was posting an early secretary yesterday. I had forgotten about the piece.
I bought this in the mid 1990s and really thought it was a show piece. A good friend of mine in SC had several of their pieces and they looked at home with his huge Victorian art glass collection.
The colors in the shade are beautiful with or without the light on. I like the way the bronze metal work is aged. It hasn't seen much use and still has the original bulb.

For the record-- you are incorrect. The internet is just like any other "publication". Rights or ownership to any "work" can be maintained.
Don't confuse what many people do, with the legal right to do it.

I also have a Lundberg lamp in my living room. It is in their "Van Gogh Sunset" decor. I have several vases in that decor, and thought I would love to have a lamp in it too, and was able to purchase one from someone who lived near the studio. Even though I love old Loetz, I still love some of the contemporary stuff too. Nice lamp, Scott.
Share your lamp-- I'd like to see it some time.
The quality of the craftsmanship of Lunberg sets it apart from a lot of contemporary makers.
I don't know what these bring now, but I felt fine about the $235 price tag when I purchased this one (15- 20 years ago).

Will do, Scott. I think I paid about the same price for mine that you did, and it was bought from their showroom. I see Lundberg lamps going for crazy amounts lately though.
I look forward to seeing it.

I saw this in your earlier post, but didn't have time to send you a request to see a close up. So glad you did, I love it!
David

Thanks ks85-- SOME of the modern glass can be as beautiful as the antiques.

My "no reproduction tag" was added after I had some of my images used to create reproduction photos and SOLD on ebay.
Most museums have a posted policy. I make it a habit to ASK the owner.
I have a posting of a Trench Art book on here. I asked the author (Jane Kimball) for permission to post her book and pages from it here.
"Fair Use" -- protected materials for educational purposes is a different matter.

Yes, you cannot go wrong with that approach.
