      These old babies were hard to kill. My mother still has one with an old cloth insulated cord but it doesn't oscillate. Set a bowl of ice in front of it and crank it up full tilt............country A/C

      Thank you this fan may be from the 50's as I think it looks like 50's Mercury car!

      Would be late 50s or early 60s with a safety cage like that. They get safer as a time goes on. Looks like the back of the cage is still open. I'll bet is made by Al Bersted. Probably looks a lot like your Zero fan.
