This advertising pocket watch was made by New Haven in 1929 for the Brown Shoe Company. Later in the 40s & 50s, the company made a brief foray into the comic book publishing industry, producing Buster Brown Comics, which featured the character on the cover, but contained different adventure features, such as Robin Hood.
On the dial under 12 O'clock, you can see the outline of Robin Hood in gold colour (picture 3). The dial has deteriorated over the years but I hope you have enjoyed this posting!
