I bought this really cool plaque yesterday. I liked how stylized it was, and the colors were interesting. Plaster. It had (had!!) a name like Dimo on it.
Can't show it to you because as I was walking to my new photo site, I dropped it. Yes I freaking broke another piece. I am a menace to treasures everywhere. Lock up the good stuff 'cause Amber Rose is coming around!
Heavy, heavy, heavy sigh.
It certainly was the last outing of the Last Supper! Like how Judas is turned in the 'wrong direction' and has no halo. Dimo? Greekness?
I actually think it was a company that cranked out plaster wall hangings in the 60/70s. However, V , I love the high level your brain works!
Eye, funny one!
No! Laughed out loud
wow!!! beautiful , so sorry u had dropped it:(
Amberrose, I know the feeling all to well, I really love Art Glass, but don't dare to own any for the "Breakage" that is sure to occur in my hands. Plaster plaques like these, I've already tried to have a few, the 3d oxen with cover wagon, well had it for about a week, OOPS , not now.
Hey Amber, I'm sorry you dropped it. Do you have all the pieces? If you like I can tell you how to repair it?
I appreciate the offers to teach me to repair it but I know me...I'll have good intentions then glue my fingers together. If anyone wants a project, I'll send it to you.
do you amberrose still shop at salvation army store? check this link out

Eye, it's the patience, not the glue.
Sean...what the heck! Well maybe the new Pope will help with that dumb ass sh#t
Your so right about that amberrose:)
I know I couldn't believe it when I saw that!
They certainly have not refused to take my money ..... ever.
Those two women next to the red shield sign smile so sweetly too!
The old saying is: Caveat Emptor!
Buyer Beware!
LOL!! Kevin ,that is so true:)
Gentlemen, you know I am a believer. People are people. It's how you act that is important.
Oh Phil that video is, too funny.
I think we've all done this at some point! Maybe Mani could do a video with collectibles in it that met their demise at our own hands.
LOL...this was funny to read. It sounds as if amber could do a music video on facial expressions as the item falls to its death
Know wonder I read to keep you away from the Wedge wood. Have a great day & no-more breakages
Amber, love your stuff......XO
I am busy posting on RL and a lot more to go! Thank you my friend!
What a shame..it's still wondeful!....:-)
Amber, I wish you to only break plaster items!
Lol for the sticking (not stinky as I previously wrote!!!) fingers with the glue!
And... if using cyanoacrylate, be VERY careful when opening contenant as once it "exploded" and directly sent droplets in my eye!!! No no, I didn't stay half eyed, more fear than pain! Since this I wear protect glasses when I need to use it.
Everyone, thank you for the good advise, sympathy and expressing the desire to keep me away from your treasures. I completely understand.
Amber, once I get proper insurance on my collection, you can move them around and work on them anytime...let me see where I put that Picasso original.........LOL
At least you can laugh at yourself even if inside you are crying. Have a great day
