Found this in my father's basement after he passed away this summer. Not sure how old it is, but it's been my family for a few decades. Other than a collection of dust sitting on it, it looks and works perfectly.

I believe this neon was created for the Mount Carbon Brewing Company located in Pottsville, PA. The brewery operated between the 1933 to 1976 at which time the brewery and the beer recipes were sold to D. G. Yuengling and Sons brewery of Pottsville, PA (Yuengling is currently Americas oldest operating brewery). One of the brewery's flagship beers were called "Bavarian Beer", it was brewed from 1941 until the brewery was sold to Yuengling; Yuengling continued to brew it up until 1994.

Your neon is a very beautiful piece, I'd love to add it to my collection of PA breweriana. If you ever decide to sell it please contact me first. You can view some of my collection and contact me on my website at http://www.brewaf.com.
