I did not take this photo, but am posting it as avenue to make my fellow glass lovers aware of The Corning Museum of Glass. Please check the CMOG's website, and if not familiar with this Museum, you will be pleasantly surprised.
Located in fascinating Central New York, The Museum is a wonderful tribute to all aspects of glass and glassmaking. I can not describe this accurately, so if you have any interest at all in this subject I'd strongly urge you to please refer to the website.
I had the distinct pleasure of visiting this facility recently, and came away most impressed. If any of you have the chance, I'd suggest visiting the Museum, and for those far away from Corning, I'd encourage you to explore the the site, and for everyone to sign up for their emails.
Thank you for letting me share this with you!
BEAUTIFUL:) I DO HAVE THAT BOOK " THE GLASS OF THE ALCHEMISTS " THE CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS.
Thank you, Sean! The CMOG does have a large selection of books on glass available, and I am glad that you have the one that you referred to.
