    fledermaus

Dreamy, bathing beauty produced at Sevres after the marble figure in the collection of The Louvre for Danys Peuch and dated 1903. I purchased this fine figure about 15 year ago at the Stella Pier Show in NYC. It is one of my favorite Sevres pieces! Doesn't she make you smile?

Yes, I would love to think of her as Ondine! Thank you for the insight. The large version of this figure is carved marble and I believe is in the Louvre or the Musee D'Orsay. Can't remember where I saw it.
