I would really appreciate if you could help me because I haven't much sense of Bakelite. Also I think the suspension of the brooch is nice and special. It's also a funny brooch and that's why I bought it. Then immediately tested for Bakelite with Simichrome which is indeed positive.
Do you have any idea of the date of this brooch? Personally, I thought of the fifties. And does this brooch has any value? I appreciate your ideas.
Monstonelover21 what a quick response, thanks for loving.

I posted a picture of a similar one on one of my postings. Did you see it? :)
freiheit a little stupide perhaps, I looked at your postings but can't find your Doggie brooch. Please help!
It's my fault:( I posted it on my listing of the rose quartz necklace of 8 days ago. I don't know how to post a link:(
freiheit thanks, now I found and read the article about the fake vintage doggie brooches. I'm lucky My doggie seems to be real vintage, real Bakelite (I tested it with Simichrome). The only thing I don't understand is that with the Simichrome proof the brooch seems to be painted black. I'll hope that can be explained? You can?? thanks anyway!!
