The word "Ausführung", when put into a translator, comes up with several meanings, i.e. version, model, execution, performance, carrying out, etc.

In my view, the best context for the Loetz pieces with the "Ausführung" designation is "carried out in the manner of". Each Ausführung number is assigned to a particular method of decoration that may be done on any number of shapes.

The method of decoration, in this case, is "gelbgrün glatt mit Silberhenkeln", or "Yellow-green smooth with silver handles", not literally silver, but a silver/yellow iridescence applied to the handles.

The general shape is found in the factory line drawings, Prod. Nr. II-4729, with two handles. The only difference is that this piece has three handles, and that may have a different production number, but I haven't found it (yet).

There is a similar Ausf. number - 44 - which is the same as Ausf. 9, except that it has the addition of applied yellow-green glass threads around the neck of the piece, so these two Ausf. numbers are sometimes mistaken for one other.
