    blunderbuss2
    (199 items)

First 1 is 1892, as you can see, & measures 1.15" dia.. Florin or half crown? Second is a silver 3 pence (trop-pence) & measures .63" dia. Has some bad scratches on the face but you can't have everything! For those following my coin postes, you will be relieved to know that I only have 1 more to go. Wonder if that guy in "Mo Bay" still has that canvass bag of coins? Maybe I could mug him! Actually, wish I could give him part of the money after selling. Appears that those 7 coins I gave a few bucks for are worth $2-3K! Of course after the rip-off fees, I will probably be lucky if I don't owe money! If I can find him, maybe I can collect half of the losses.

LOL, probably would have to pay for selling, that's why I'm a "Horder". Very nice coins there Lucas, sweet score in my book

May get more by melting down but can't ever do that to antiquity! As you say, better to hoard, but I'm not going to be here forever & then it would have to be an exceptionally smart wog to even think about selling for the silver. C'est l'vive!

I relate, I'm sure after I"m gone, some of the things I treasure most will be thrown to the sellers block and not even considered the history involved with them. Just the almighty dollar

Nice coin. I have always wanted to go to Jamaica

Amy, don't go, just send your money. I sold out & left because I knew it was just a matter of time before more violence 86'd my birth certificate. The streets are unsafe & who wants to vacation in a closed compound. Never did understand that breed. Obviously I don't work for the Jamaica Tourist Board but got in 15 yrs hands on training.

nice to see some good brit coins in the U.S.A. the first coin is a half crown. the second is as you say a silver threpunce or threpenny bit. A tup-pance as you called it was actualy an early silver coin called a half groat a full groat was for old pennies. hope this was helpfull.

Thanks watchme. Brit. coins have changed so many times over the centuries that I can't keep up with the denominations, much less the slang terms. Wish I could find a place to sell all those coins without losing a bundle to commissions.
