Monastery to Military
Some times the truth can be stranger than fiction. While going through boxes of family photos I came up with these pictures. One is of a Franciscan Monk in the 1930’s and the other is of a Staff Sergeant in the 101st Airborne during WWII. Both are of the same man and he was not an army chaplain. I can’t imagine that many others had that kind of history.
