Any ideas in which direction to go?
Erik Hoglund for Kosta is Sean's suggestion and thanks to him for it. Wiktor Berndt for Flygsfors was another of my ideas. I have not been able to get any further on this one.
STUNNING VASE Kevin:) , imho , I think it is erik hoglund, but I could be wrong:) But is stunning!!
Check this link out , it could be one of these people,
http://www.swedenartglass.com/information/designers.html#Höglund_Erik
Thanks again, Sean!
Many thanks Leah, Sean, Manikin, MSL, Nadia and AGHCOLLECT too!
Great things come is small portions! Love it!
Many thanks TOM!
Josef Schott for Smålandshyttan is also an avenue to look into.
I did have a look at Smålandshyttan too but give it another go, thanks KISSLIKEETHER!
Your welcome Kevin:) and anytime:)
I have two options... one was Josef Schott for Smålandshyttan and the other is Göte Augustsson for Ruda...
Many thanks TOM, GARY, DON, MIKE & AUSTRO too!
That's something I did think of Austro ... Ruda. But my search did not involve Göte A. Let's see!
Stunning really love it:)
Göte Augustssons glass from Ruda have mostly an inwarmed and "hand formed" edge. It's not only blown in a mold/form like this one. This has a cutted edge. Augustssons glass was put on a pontil spike and then the edge was warmed and formed by the blower. Only cuttet/grinded in the bottom to get the pontil mark smoth. This vase looks moore like Schott and Smålandshyttan in my eyes, but the mark "made in Sweden" is a little confusing. Could also be other glassworks, Skruf, Lindshammar or others.
Thanks ALDO, ANTIQUES-NJ, ALFREDO, GARGOYLE, PHIL, JARROD, CHARLIE and to you too REBESSIN for the comments. I'll have another look round Skruf and Lindshammar too.
Hi V! Sorry, late to this cool find. I first thought Skruf when I saw your picture. Not sure if that means anything but that was my first gut reaction
Thanks Amber. Did you see my comment about the Bitossi ash tray = SETA?
Those circles are very Bengt Edenfalk!
Im so confused by that sticker is because , when I see that I think of vintage Kosta !
Gor....geous!! I need to look through more of your posts!
Thanks SEAN, Slave to the G and AIMATHENA too!
Stickers are a mystery, Sean.
Impermanent.
For years I considered them as 'ugliness stuck on a beautiful object'.
Now they are indicators of age, nationality and manufacturer.
An imperfect science.
Your very welcome Kevin:) I so agree with you as well:)
Pukeberg?????
Many thanks POPS & MARTY too for that idea!
Hi V, I did see it and commented back my thanks. Good intel, appreciate all your effort.
I was going to go with Bengt Edenfalk as well. (A very Lord of the Rings name). I keep coming back to him.
Many thanks AMBER, AIMATHENA, POPS & SLAVETOTHEG!
Hey Kevin! Did any of the Finnish glass artists ever work for Swedish companies?

I noticed there was some fire in town the other day or did I get it wronge
Not that I know of Zowie! The tornado in Hornsby on Monday was a beauty though.
I believe that seen some of the mess it left behind & I have never heard of a Tornado there before I used to live in Turramurra on kissing point road & worked at Claude Fays
Agreed. Never happened before.
