I found this in the basement storage room of my grandmas. Fortunately I was able to find out that this frame is a small oval Mosaic frame from Italy. But I cannot find out his information on this picture. I have a picture and a picture of the back skating it is a 1931 picture. Could somebody please inform me on this picture I am no knowledge in regards to pictures and I would hate to see this picture not be appreciated
    Thank you very much

Could you tell me what you meant by jewelry people CW please and thank you for your compliment

I used the term to refer to some people that are experts in Jewelry since there is a lot of mosiac jewelry and perhaps they could ID the design of frame . It was just a source along with the photo experts . I think it looks like it was a photo taken and given as a gift not a mass produced one . The jewelry people may be able to tell if mosiac and photo are of same time period or frame added later . Looks custom made to me. It is a beauty . What is girl doing hard to tell on photo.

Yes I was sleepint but as every night awake for a moment and must take a look, as every night. so, thanks to calle me MM specialist. This is indeed a very nice sweet Micro Mosaic frame. i would say made between the end of the 19s begin 20s. Very loved technique and no wonder with these beautiful little flowers in sparkling colors. as you can understand nowadays hardely to do for handwork,en because the lot of time to make it and therefore to expensive! what can be a better remebering than a photo of a loved one!

I think the girl doesn't have a top to take off! :-)
