Perhaps you can understand why I am so very happy with this new addition. This beautiful pendant is a dream for someone like me, a passionate Micro Mosaic collector
The pendant is set in silver, perhaps from origin this was vermeil. The image of a stork in the water between the flowers is beautiful. Missing virtually no tessarea (tiles). The frame and bail is beautifuly decorated in a black background with very softly tones blue green and so on. An incredible piece of craftsmanship that all should be given the tiny sort of square shaped tesserae, which are very old. In the back there is room for a tuft of hair. The only thing to this not quite good is that there is a splinter off from the glass at the back. The dimensions of the pendant are: including the stunning bail with Micro Mosaic inlay: 6 x 3 cm.
I like the soft beautiful blue color in combination especially the silver color of the setting.
I hope you are just as excited as I'm. I appreciate your feedback?

Oh my...... that may be the loveliest I have ever seen. You are so lucky to have it in your collection. Surely it is your favourite? if not with all you now about this art form do please tell me what could supersede this one?
Sincerely,
Lisa
Lisa-lighting, thanks a lot for your compliment. I agree with you, it really is a beautiful jewel and indeed one of my favorites. But I have several there. I am not only an admirer of a beautiful design, shape and color, but also to the ancient properties of a micro mosaic jewelry. This may apply to other measures such as the fineness of the tesserrae (tiles) for finer who are the older the piece of jewelry. With this latest assessment method I look at some of my other Mosaic jewelry such as:
