I stopped at a garage sale Sat. and grabbed this large poster of a 1950's theme Diner. It reminded me of the old days when we would meet at a coffee shop called "Donuts n Cream". I'd pull up in my 1963 Impala SS clone I built from 3 different 63's, one being an SS. It had a 283, 3 on the floor Hurst with chrome reverse rims w/ baby moons and dual exhaust with cherry bombs. My friend would pull up in his true 1964 chevelle SS with a 283, 4 on the floor. My cousin would pull up in his 1968 chevelle with a Pontiac 389 tri-power in it that came out of a 1964 GTO he had in his garage. My other friend would pull up in his 1965 GTO 389. The waitress boy friend would pull up in his 1968 Camaro SS 396. Ya those were the days my friend!

Well we met at McDonald's or A&W Root Beer Stand and they had girls on skates at A&W :-) after a night of dancing . Such fun
This reminds me of the movie American Graffiti that we watched the other night, hadn't seen it in years.

Thanks walksoftly! now you have me wanting to watch American Graffiti ( for the 10th time) LOL as for the cops I never got a speeding ticket, they couldn't catch me LOL but I did get a ticket for an unsafe start!! ( 68 327 Camaro burnout on Main st.) lol I did out run the cops with that car! boy that was a long time ago,LOL
