    Picked this up today. What in the world was this used for and how? I had never seen one so I grabbed it up!! My dogs liked it too, they wouldn't stop checking it out. lol

    Says "RAPID WASHER"... and other stuff I can't really make out.

      It's a washing agitator. It was put in a washtub and then plunged up and down to agitate clothes.

      i had one of these one time and old timer told me his wife used it many times for washing clothes in a tub instead of the old time wash board ,at least thats what he told me ,belive it or not

      yes I have one like it dont remember any name on it but is used for washing clothes

      Tikiray, I can vouch for it still being used in daily stuff. I have one and I used it for washing long, weighted lace curtains in the bath tub.
