I aquired this sign in locker auction, it is approximately 12"x36". It does not have any Texaco markings so i'm trying to find out exactly how old it really is.

they used "THE TEXAS COMPANY" parent name from 1902-1959
here is a good link for their history-

the only way you could get an exact date would be to locate the Henry Willie well, and find out it's age.that may narrow it down!

are these types of property marker signs just as collectable as product advertisement signs?

IMO I would say no. They don't have any subject matter, they are petroliana ,but not as neat. again JMHO!
