Looking for more information about this beautiful figural lady lamp...
I got this lamp in 2012 from my 88 year old mother who is not sure where or when she got it. She tells me it had a lampshade that she describes as having the texture of soft skin, i never saw the original shade. There are no marks to identify the maker that I have found, i may be looking in the wrong place?
Electric Lamp, Height of Statue: around 28-24 inches
Materials: Cast bronze ? it's very very heavy
Not sure if it's painted bronze or a different material like ceramic. It's not delicate and again it's very heavy and sturdy
It may have been purchased in the San Francisco Bay Area but I'm not sure of it's origin.
Judging by the dress and hat I'm guessing the 30's or 40's?
I don't know very much about lamps other than I really like this one, so any help at all would be appreciated. I would be happy to provide more images.
wow that is a beauty ! I love it very much . Looks very 1940s -50's to me . Hope some one can Id it for you . Welcome to CW
