Purple glass bowl on foot - Knut Bergqvist, Lindefors 1928-31.

This is a bowl from Lindefors glassworks between Hovmantorp and Lessebo in Sweden (after 1933 renamed to Strömbergshyttan). Designed by Knut Bergqvist. It has a beautiful purple color, also used in a bowl on foot with lid by Bergqvist from the same time. The lid on that bowl has the typical Bergqvist "six-string" design on the top, and therefore it's quite sure a Bergqvist design. This bowl in the same color without lid, my wife got from her grandmother, and she had received it from her son in law who was cutter on Lindefors from 1929 - 1970s. The shape is time typical and the cup optic blown.
