I bought this bar brooch together with the silver Art deco one I posted yesterday. It was the same price as that one! It depicts a horse whip and it has some black enamel and a tiny rhinestone. But the most beautiful part is the woman's head. She has long wavy hair and there are 2 flowers beneath her. The brooch is yellow metal with a silver finish.
My boyfriend thought I was crazy for buying such a piece, he thinks its not pretty. But I kinda love its style. And for 1 euro (about 1,3 dollar) you cant complain.
The art deco one stays my favorite though.

I was extremely lucky in finding things that day. That doesn't happen often to me either. I will post the other items I found.

Newtimes... We are in the midst of selling our home, remodeling a smaller place and getting ready for the move... So, I have not been shopping a whole lot. Yesterday I had to run some errands... It happened to be next to a thrift store.... I ended up buying a few pins and things. But I was sooo very amazed to find a similar pin to this... It looks to be 9Ct gold, but it's not marked. It has a PAT number and that's all... Anyways as soon as I get a chance I will post it. It's not as beautiful and detailed, but similar. It was originally $8 but it was 1/2 off and I paid $4... I just thought it to be an amazing coincidence!!!
What I find to be an amazing coincidence DrFuffy is that the thrift store was right next to where you needed to run errands LOL.

Btw. Hunting whips are not for use on the horse, but have a "hook" (carved antler was common) at the end for opening and shutting gates without dismounting, as well as a long leather thong to keep the hounds from coming near the horse's legs, and possibly getting kicked.
